More than an Eichler "specialist." Eichler Homes Realty, Inc. a full-service residential real estate brokerage, is the unique undertaking of its owner and founder, Jerry R. Ditto.  It's mission, simply stated, is to provide informed, knowledgeable and effective real estate brokerage services to home buyers and home sellers of these historic, contemporary homes of California.

The San Francisco Chronicle reported on the formation of this new type of specialized "boutique" real estate company, and Jerry Ditto's objective of providing not only the typical area or neighborhood expertise, but expertise and knowledge of the homes and their history as well.  Over the years, many new Eichler homeowners have greatly benefited from their association with Jerry and the service and counsel he has provided to them.

The "Eichler" is rich in history.  Designed by three teams of internationally recognized architectural firms - Anshen+Allen of San Francisco, Jones & Emmons of Los Angeles, and Claude Oakland & Associates of Oakland - and built by Joseph Eichler's organizations from 1950 - 1974, these homes occupy a noted place in the post-World War II home building industry that has not been duplicated to this day.

After living in a Frank Lloyd Wright home in the 1940's, Mr. Eichler dedicated his home-building business to the design and construction of architecturally acclaimed homes for the family of average means.   Winning awards from prestigious architectural journals and consumer magazines, his homes and their architects received considerable international attention throughout the 50's, 60's and into the 1970's.  Now ranging is price from $400,000 to in excess of $2,000,000, they dot the California landscape in the San Francisco bay area - and beyond - with the majority located in the beautiful environs of Silicon Valley, and Santa Clara and San Mateo counties.

Jerry is proud of the attention and interest his publications have brought, once again, to the work of Joseph Eichler.   And he is equally proud of the unique service he has brought to his clients.    He stands ready to help you!
